Heather Godfrey

is a dedicated 4 year old Teacher at the Isay Gulley Head Start Center. She has been employed with Head Start  since 2005.  Heather enjoys traveling and hanging out with friends when she   have an opportunity.  Heather has a BA Degree in Early Child Development & Family  Studies from the University of North Texas.  She started teaching because she had great teachers as a child who  nurtured and cared for her and gave her the tools she needed to  learn. She provides the same passion for children that was given to  her when she was younger. I know she enjoys and loves working with children because it shows in her face when she shares various experiences and skills that the children are learning in the  classroom. Here is just a few attributes that will best describe Heather in every sense of the word: She aspires to be a vessel of love and light for  the children around her daily, communicates well with others,  makes each and every day an adventure, faces difficult challenges  with a positive attitude, open minded to changes and respects  everyone's rights to be who they are, dependable, and the list goes  on and on.  I would just like to say, "Thank You" to Heather for going into the classroom with children and filling their hearts and minds with  love, learning and leadership skills that will build their character for the future. 

Pinellas County Head Start/Early Head Start is very fortunate to have her!!!
