If you live in Pinellas County, have a child who is between ages zero (unborn) to Florida’s mandatory school age, and your family meets the following federal government eligibility guidelines, contact Family Services at (727) 547-5971 for application information, or to arrange for a home visit. Walk-ins are welcome, but a preceding phone call could assist with time management.
Family Size of 1 = Foster Child, Family Size of 2 = Single Parent and 1 Child, etc.

PCHS/EHS accepts applications throughout the year, children are accepted as long as there are vacancies in the program, up until April 1st of each school year. A waiting list is maintained to assure that families are served in a timely manner.
Establishing Eligibility
A family must complete an application to begin the eligibility process. Additionally, the family must have acceptable documented proof of:
- The Enrolling Child’s Date of Birth
- Proof of the Family’s Income
- Proof of Temporary Assistance for Need Family (TANF) Participation
To Complete Enrollement
A family also supplies the following:
- Current Blue Shot Card (required)
- Emergency Contact Names and Information for 3 Additional People (required)
- The Enrolling Child's Doctor and Dentist contact information
Priority consideration will be given to current and former HS/EHS parents and to low-income family members who meet the qualification guidelines for employment opportunities.
