Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten

Pinellas County Head Start is pleased to also be a provider for Florida's Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) program as well. VPK classes are offered each summer at designated Head Start campuses. Up to one hundred (100) children will be served at locations in Clearwater and St.Petersburg. Additional locations may be added as needed.

Applications are being accepted from current Head Start children as well as any other four year old that meets Head Start eligibility requirements. Families that have children with a disability are encouraged to apply. All enrolling families must complete the Florida VPK application.
